“I don’t want to do this anymore.” Jesse’s heart is an open wound, and she’s grieving what was once a blooming love. She retreats home and into her memories to make sense of the loss she feels. Her grandmother’s wisdom and her own intuition are the forces she will rely on to guide her out of the pain.

I think this is a very sweet comic. I love how you illustrate (both figuratively and literally) the theme and message of it very simply and concisely. I love how seamlessly it goes between the flashback and the present. I like how the theme is shown as painful but necessary, and I like how it's portrayed through body-horror-esque imagery. I like a lot about this comic, and I think you did a wonderful job
Ohhhh, this was such a sweet comic ;---; I still remember how heartbroken I was when I first found out that I'd need to prune and deadhead my first set of snapdragons, and I neglected to do that, so they grew long, limp, and spindlier with time. I think messing up was probably the only thing that could've gotten me to realize how necessary it was for them. I think you use it as a theme so beautifully in a way that provides so much comfort and catharsis. <33
